Community Guidelines
Last updated: 2026-05-28
Sweet Social is meant to feel like a small, sweet corner of the internet. These rules apply to everyone. Breaking them can result in your post being hidden, your account being suspended, or — in serious cases — being permanently removed and reported to the authorities.
You may not
- Post content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors. Zero tolerance — we report to NCMEC.
- Threaten, harass, dox, or incite violence against any person or group.
- Post hate speech targeting protected characteristics (race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, etc.).
- Post non-consensual intimate images, sexual content involving real people without consent, or revenge porn.
- Sell, promote, or coordinate illegal goods or services (weapons, drugs, stolen accounts, fraud).
- Impersonate other people or organizations in a misleading way.
- Post spam, scams, phishing, malware, or coordinated inauthentic behavior.
- Infringe on someone else’s copyright or trademark. (See our DMCA policy.)
- Share private information about other people without consent.
- Try to evade enforcement (ban evasion, multiple accounts to harass).
Reporting
Every post has a “Report” menu. Reports are confidential. Posts that receive multiple reports are automatically hidden pending review. For copyright issues, file a formal notice via our DMCA page. For urgent safety issues (threats, CSAM), email {{LEGAL_CONTACT_EMAIL}} — we triage these first.
Enforcement
We aim to act proportionately. Most first-time violations result in a warning or post removal. Repeat or severe violations result in suspension or permanent termination. You can appeal a moderation decision by emailing {{LEGAL_CONTACT_EMAIL}} with your account email and the affected post URL.
